Uriburu's art world break through came during the 1968 Venice Biennial when he performed his first large scale intervention in nature; the Colouration of the Grand Canal. Dying the waters a bright, 'toxic' green colour, Uriburu protested our habit of polluting the earth in front of an audience of thousands.
This print portfolio was created in 1973 to celebrate and record the entire series of 'Colourations' which included works in Buenos Aires, New York and Paris amongst others. The work was created as a Uriburu's Manifesto, solidifying his stance on matters regarding the environment.
